Hello, and thanks for stopping by! My name is Gary, and I’m the fellow behind Iowa Gravel Roads Country.

I started this station because I love country music—the familiar favorites that bring back memories and the songs you don’t hear nearly often enough anymore. There’s something special about hearing a song that takes you back to an old pickup, a favorite dance floor, or an afternoon with someone you love.

Rooted here in rural Iowa, our station brings together country music from decades past, including favorites from the 2000s. You’ll hear songs about love, heartbreak, family, faith, hard work, and having a little fun along the way. Alongside the big hits, I want to make room for those forgotten gems that deserve another listen.

I’ve been working my way through my country CD collection, building the music library one album at a time. Choosing the songs and bringing this station together has been a labor of love, and I’m excited to share it with you.
